In this session, participants will engage in a digital style of PD developed by the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP) which will focus on decision-making in real-life and everyday situations that occur in a school building. From classroom behaviors to legal requirements, these lessons utilize dynamic multi-media presentations and gamification style learning while having learners reflect on current practices and strategies for improvement. Participants attending this session will jump into a simulation facilitated by Ryan Cayce of MASSP. Current administrators or teacher leaders considering administration are encouraged to check it out!

How do you organize your course? By week, by unit, by chapter? Brightspace is flexible enough to meet the needs of however you want to organize your space. In this session, you will see some examples of how teachers have organized their Brightspace workspaces, hear about best practices for when and how to use HTML pages (it’s not scary), and have ample time for a Q&A with a classroom teacher who has tried multiple methods of organization.
